Fabio Albano prior to joining F2i in 2009, served as Partner of Clessidra Infrastrutture. With Clessidra Mr. Albano participated in steel manufacturing and biomass renewables transactions. He has been as well Business Advisor to Clessidra SGR for Infrastructures and Energy Sectors. Prior to joining Clessidra, Mr. Albano was Manager of Autostrade S.p.A. Corporate Development Division. During this period he held primary roles in structuring and executing successful international M&A large deals as acquisition Costanera Norte in Chile, acquisition of controlling stake in the Polish Stalexport SA, sale of 100% of Europpass. In the same period he was involved in relevant project financing initiatives in Italy as Prato-Signa Highway and Pedemontana Veneta.

Prior to Autostrade, Mr. Albano was Senior Manager of the Corporate Development Division at Accenture, being involved in several projects to setup Joint Ventures with relevant partners as Benetton, Barilla, Fiat Finance.
From 1995 to 1998 he was Assistant to the Chairman of Luxottica Group, working on the takeover and on the turnaround process of US Shoes Inc. and in the following turnaround process of the company.
